Fall is just around the corner, and there are plenty of fun activities for every member of the family to enjoy in DeSoto County, Mississippi. 

North Mississippi Hummingbird Festival
Don’t miss the first ever North Mississippi Hummingbird Festival on Sept. 13 at the newly established Hummingbird Park inside Southaven’s Snowden Grove. Birdlovers of all ages can expect engaging talks from a host of experts, monarch banding, local artisan and craftsman vendors, food trucks, family friendly activities and more.

Mid-South Fair
Enjoy big fun and bigger memories at the Mid-South Fair Sept. 25-Oct. 5 at Landers Center! There will be more than 50 rides, live music, exciting games, ground acts, iconic foods and more at the 10-day event. Click here to purchase tickets.

Mississippi Ale House & Brew Pub Oktoberfest
Beer drinkers, Mississippi Ale House & Brew Pub is hosting its annual Oktoberfest on Oct. 4 from 2-11 p.m. Get ready to sip your favorite festive brews, enjoy live music, eat some delicious bites and enter to win prizes!

2nd Annual Bullfrog Festival
Happening Oct. 4 at Horn Lake’s Latimer Lakes Park, the 2nd Annual Bullfrog Festival has it all! The whole family can enjoy this fall outing that includes live music, food trucks, car and truck shows, craft vendors, a kid-zone and a frog leg cook-off.

Water Tower Festival
Don’t miss the Hernando Water Tower Festival set for Sept. 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., on the Courthouse Square. Attendees can expect more than 100 vendor booths, food trucks, kid-friendly activities and more.

Hernando Water Tower 10k & Half Marathon
Whether you are a beginner, experienced runner or just want to join the post-race party, the Hernando Water Tower 10K and Half Marathon is an event you do not want to miss. Sign up to get in on the action set for Oct. 11.
