Dog-friendly places in DeSoto County

National Dog Day is Aug. 26, and we’re bringing you a list of dog-friendly places in DeSoto County, Mississippi. Read along to see where you and your furry friend can hang out in each town. 

Southaven 
If you’re looking for a spot that will welcome your dog with open arms, Lucky Dog Music Hall & Bar is the perfect fit! Relax and unwind on their patio and listen to some tunes. Other pet-friendly dining spots across Southaven: 10th Inning Sports Bar & Grill, Maria’s Cantina, Dan McGuinness Irish Pub, and  One and Only BBQ. If you want to take your pooch on a walk, check out Central Park, Snowden Grove Park, Greenbrook Park and Silo Square.

 

Olive Branch 
Mississippi Ale House is a great place to bring your four-legged friend. Its spacious outdoor area is the ideal spot to enjoy a cold beer and some fresh air. Or, you can grab a seat on SideStreet Burger’s patio. Olive Branch City Park has a small and large dog park, as well.   

 

Hernando
Visit AC’s Steakhouse Pub for a fabulous steak and a spacious patio for your pal. Other dog-friendly Hernando patios to add to your list: Fratello's Italian Steakhouse and La Siesta Mexican Restaurant. Looking for some outdoor adventure? Stop by Conger Park, Renasant Park and Cedar Hill Farm. 

 

Horn Lake and Walls
Frisbee fetch, anyone? You can enjoy just that at Hernando DeSoto River Park in Walls and Latimer Lakes Park in Horn Lake. The latter offers a disc golf course for you to enjoy, as well.
