Must-see DeSoto County concerts in 2023

It’s always concert season here in DeSoto County, Mississippi! We have already marked this year with some great performances and there are even more to come. Check out this list of upcoming concerts that you won’t want to miss.

3 Doors Down
Friday, Aug. 11 at BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove
3 Doors Down is bringing its “Away From The Sun” Anniversary Tour to BankPlus Amphitheater in Southaven. The group is slated to play songs from the album, along with some of its biggest hits during the show. Special guest Candlelight is joining 3 Doors Down on its final US tour and will serve as the opener. This is a must-see concert and tickets start at $29 – can’t beat that!

Parker McCollum
Saturday, Aug. 12 at the Landers Center
Don’t miss Americana-country music artist Parker McCollum at Landers Center in Southaven later this summer. Special guest Catie Offerman will kick things off prior to Parker taking the stage. Lindsey Stirling
Friday, Aug. 18 at BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove
Performing with Walk Off The Earth, Lindsey Stirling’s concert is expected to be an intimate performance guests won’t soon forget. Tickets to see the American violinist, songwriter and dancer start at $55. Get ‘em before they’re gone!
 
20th Annual Tri-State Blues Festival 
Saturday, Aug. 19 at Landers Center
The longest-running blues concert in the region is returning to Landers Center for its 20th year! Listen to a range of blues music, including R&B and Southern soul, from musicians like Tucka, Calvin Richardson, King George, Chick Rodgers, Pokey Bear, J-Wonn and Bobby Rush. Tickets start at $51 and can be purchased here

Charlie Wilson
Friday, Sept. 8 at Landers Center
Headlining the Classic Friday Night concert as a part of the Southern Heritage Classic is Charlie Wilson and special guests Morris Day and The Time, and Jammin' Jay Lamont. Best known for his song “Jungle Love,” Charlie Wilson has been nominated for 13 Grammy Awards and will receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame next year. Tickets for this show start at $75 and can be purchased here.

Scream Tour 2023
Saturday, Sept. 16 at Landers Center
The Scream Tour, which started in 2001, is being brought back to life by the Black Promoters Collective after an 11-year hiatus. This year's tour is set to feature artists That Girl LAY LAY, Young Dylan, WanMor, Papa Jay, Lay Bankz, D Sturdy, Citi Limitz and Rocco Lupo with special guest King Harris, as well as sounds by DJs Amira & Kayla and DJ Sophia Rocks. Tickets for this show start at just under $55 and can be purchased here.

Nickelback
Sunday, Sept. 17 at BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove
If you owe me 20 cents and you give me a quarter, then I should give you…a NICKELBACK. This well-known band is traveling through Southaven with special guests Brantley Gilbert and Josh Ross on their Get Rollin’ Tour. Tickets for the show start at $40.

Goo Goo Dolls
Wednesday, Sept. 20 at BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove
This legendary rock band is performing at outdoor venues across the country on the Big Night Out Tour with special guest Fitz and The Tantrums. During the tour, the group is partnering with Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation, a nonprofit organization providing resources to youth who are dealing with trauma or violence. Last year, the Goo Goo Dolls raffled off a pair of VIP tickets with backstage passes to those who submitted a $5 donation. Willie Nelson 
Saturday, Oct. 14 at BankPlus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove
Willie Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour is on the road again! This time, it includes Willie Nelson, of course, plus The Avett Brothers, Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Elizabeth Cook and Particle Kid. While some may think this tour will be Willie Nelson’s last, the 90-year-old has no plans to retire and will continue to play for as long as he can, according to an interview he gave earlier this year with AARP. Tickets can be purchased here.
