Small Business Spotlight: Fancy Cat Cafe

Cat lovers, this one’s for you! Fancy Cat Cafe in Southaven, Mississippi, is the purr-fect place to visit. 

Owners Matt and Crystal Stephens’ love of fostering and rescuing animals led them to open the cafe at 5048 Getwell Road in January 2026. It is filled with adorable cats courtesy of local animal shelters and foster groups that guests can interact with and even adopt.

If you’re worried about getting a little cat hair in your cup of joe, don’t fret. Fancy Cat Cafe is separated into two sections. The feline friends are on one side and the cafe is on the other, so you can sip on coffee or tea, and eat a delicious pastry while watching the cats roam through the window.
