Small Business Spotlight: Morning Grind Coffee Shop

Husband and wife team Mike and Tina Parker opened Morning Grind Coffee Shop in May 2022. The Black-owned business is located just off Millbranch Road in Southaven, Mississippi, and offers custom coffees, loaded teas, baked goods and hot-pressed sandwiches Monday-Saturday. The Parkers create special dishes and drinks frequently, so stay tuned to Morning Grind’s Facebook page.
Since its inception, Morning Grind has made waves in the community. The shop has received rave reviews from day one and was even nominated for a Mississippi Black Excellence Gala Award in its first year.
