DeSoto County, Mississippi, is home to dozens of creative and hardworking small business owners, including Molly Beth and Trey Jolly. As the owners of Stud Muffins, a meal-prep delivery service and storefront, they’ve built a trusted brand that serves athletes, families and anyone looking for convenient, healthy and southern style family meals.
Stud Muffins began in 2020 as a solution to the couple’s different food preferences. Through trial and error, Molly and Trey developed meals that were healthy and flavorful, and word quickly got around. What started as a small operation with online orders soon grew into a full-fledged business that expanded into a brick-and-mortar store in Southaven in April 2023.
Customers can shop a rotating menu of healthy meal options – think low-carb, high-protein, gluten-free and diabetic-friendly choices, in addition to a selection of frozen casseroles. Place pre-orders for pickup or swing by for grab-and-go meals, sides, desserts and snacks (we suggest the Protein Balls!).
In addition to serving the community, Stud Muffins is also the primary meal provider for several athletic programs, including the Hernando High School football and DeSoto Central High School baseball teams.
Beyond Stud Muffins, the Jollys also own Market 23 in Hernando, a build-your-own sandwich and salad shop offering soups and casseroles to-go. Big favorites include items like the Tortilla Soup and Chipotle Steak Sandwich.
Across all their businesses, the Jollys focus on approachable food, thoughtful service and making mealtime easier. Hungry yet? Browse the menus below, then visit in person!
