Tennis Courts1.jpg The Southaven Open returns to Snowden Grove Tennis Complex in Southaven, Mississippi, Aug. 3-9. Presented by the Oliver Foundation and John H. Weston Jr. Foundation, this FREE tournament includes men’s and women’s action for the second consecutive year. And, it is the only professional men’s tournament in the state! Players from all over the country travel to the top of the Sip to compete, so you won’t want to miss it.

The Southaven Open is a USTA Pro Circuit Men’s and Women’s sanctioned event that leads to the US Open Qualifiers. This year, tennis pros from more than 20 countries are set to take the court. You may see some of these same athletes competing in the US Open, Wimbledon or the French Open someday soon! Notable players playing in the event are Clement Chidekh, the top seed in the men's draw with a current ATP ranking of 215, and Kajsa Rinaldo Persson of Sweden, who is the top seed in the women's draw.

Aside from action on the court, fans can enjoy various activities throughout the week at Snowden Grove Tennis Complex, including a Pro-Am on Aug. 3, and a Kids’ Day on Aug. 5 at 5 p.m., hosted by the Northwest Mississippi CTA and USTA Mississippi.

Admission to the tournament is FREE and food and drink vendors will be onsite, so come out to see some great pro tennis action at Snowden Grove Tennis Complex Aug. 3-9. We hope to see you there!
