Agriculture is more than growing crops. It's about nurturing communities, sowing the seeds of opportunity and cultivating a future rooted in prosperity – that is what DeSoto County, Mississippi’s newest multi-use facility is dedicated to.
Newly opened in 2025, the DeSoto County Agri-Education Center promotes agricultural education, community involvement and outdoor recreation. Covering over 200 acres, the center features indoor and outdoor show arenas, flexible rental space, equestrian trails, walking paths and more, creating a one-of-a-kind destination for learning, showcasing and connecting.
From livestock shows and 4-H events to educational workshops and outdoor activities, the DeSoto County Agri-Education Center is designed to bring people together around the shared values of learning, sustainability and community pride.
By offering innovative programs, exceptional event facilities and inviting outdoor spaces, the center is on its way to becoming a model for agricultural education and community engagement in Mississippi and beyond.
