From clothing for the whole family to home decor and trinkets, the small business owners here at the top of the Magnolia State are ready for you. Side Alley Gifts & Cafe in Hernando offers handmade accessories, home furnishings and cocktail mixers, and Saint + Social has luxury spa products, funky decor and eclectic goods. Olive Branch Florist specializes in bountiful bouquets and gourmet food baskets; Wild Oats Children’s Boutique has adorable clothing, books and diaper bag essentials. Southaven’s BBQ Allstars is a dream store for food lovers and outdoor grill masters, and Custom Jewelry at Silo Square is the go-to spot for dazzling designs.

DeSoto County in the news

Restaurants and renovations – here’s news on the latest developments and offerings in DeSoto County.

  • Renovations are underway for Southaven’s BankPlus Amphitheater. DeSoto Times-Tribune reported the $10 million makeover is on track to be completed next spring. 

  • Olive Branch’s newest development, The Bridges of Camp Creek, welcomed Huey’s as its first restaurant, the Daily Memphian reported. The second DeSoto County location, and 10th overall, has a generous amount of parking and is open seven days a week.

  • The Memphis Flyer spotlighted Elfo Grisanti's in honor of its second anniversary. The Southaven eatery features a newly designed bar and live music on Thursdays.

  • Southaven’s sunflower mural was featured in the DeSoto Times-Tribune. This must-see creative piece is one of two murals at Silo Square.

Ho, ho, ho! Take a selfie with Santa at Tanger Outlets’ Santa Arrival & Tree Lighting Festival on Friday, Nov. 18 at 5 p.m. in Southaven.
