Silo Square Arts Festival
Saturday, March 28 from 10 a.m to 4 p.m
Head to Silo Square Arts Festival to shop local vendors, artists and small businesses, plus enjoy kid-friendly activities, live music and more! This fun-filled day benefits the Palmer Home for Children.
DeSoto Wings and Ribs Competition and Festival
Saturday, April 11th from 11 a.m to 4 p.m
Good news for wing enthusiasts, the DeSoto Wings and Ribs Competition and Festival is returning this year! You can look forward to a wing eating contest, people’s choice tasters, kid friendly activities, cornhole tournament, live music, bounce houses and food trucks. Palmer Home for Children 22nd Annual Mudbug Bash
Saturday, April 18 from 6 p.m to 10 p.m
Enjoy live music, great food and a silent auction at the 22nd Annual Mudbug Bash benefitting Palmer Home for Children. See Panola Street just off Hernando’s historic courthouse square be transformed into a beautiful outdoor event space all in support of the nonprofit’s mission! Southaven Springfest
Tuesday, April 21 - Saturday, April 25
Stop by Snowden Grove Park for the 46th Annual Springfest! There will be entertainment, carnival rides, fair food and games. Are you a barbecue lover? Once again, the festival will also host the State of Mississippi Barbecue Championship judged by Memphis Barbecue Network.
Blues for the Blue Crawfish & Blues Festival

The 4th Annual Blues for the Blue Crawfish & Blues Festival is set for May 9 at Southaven’s Silo Square! Don’t miss this opportunity to support local law enforcement and to enjoy delicious crawfish, drinks and live music. In 2025, the event raised $100,000 benefitting the Southaven Police Department and DeSoto County Sheriff’s Office. Stay tuned for the event start time and for ticket information.
52nd Annual A’Fair Arts & Crafts Festival
Saturday, May 16 from 9 a.m to 4 p.m
Head to Hernando Courthouse Square for a day filled with craft vendors, family fun and delicious food. Proceeds benefit the Optimist Club of Hernando Youth and Community Projects.
