Small Business Spotlight: Sugar & Honey

If so, Sugar & Honey at Silo Square is a great place to visit. This locally owned childrens’ boutique has adorable options for boys and girls in size preemie to 14, and carries popular brands like Feltman Brothers, Properly Tied, BISBY and Remember Nguyen. There’s always something going on in DeSoto County. Below are just a few snippets of the good news various media outlets have shared as of late. 

  • The Commercial Appeal highlighted how youth baseball has impacted our area greatly over the years.
  • A developer is exploring building a 27,000-square-foot conference center, three hotels, multiple restaurants and 254 living units in Olive Branch’s Maywood community as reported by The Daily Memphian.
  • Crumbl Cookie in Olive Branch had a *sweet* grand opening day earlier this month, selling nearly 4,000 cookies on its first day, according to DeSoto Times Tribune.

Upcoming events 

  • Catch the Memphis Americans’ final home matches on March 27, or see for King & Country on March 31 or Hank Williams Jr. on April 1 at Landers Center in Southaven. Click here for details and tickets.
  • Sip, shop and stroll at Silo Square on April 4 from 3-8 p.m. Enjoy drinks, light bites, deals and more for participating stores.
  • Head to the Wesson House Lawn for the Olive Branch Old Towne Spring Concert Series at 6:30 p.m. on April 7, 14 and 28. Don’t forget your blanket or lawn chair!
  • Make reservations for brunch with the Easter bunny at Cedar Hill Farm in Hernando on April 9 at 10 a.m. or April 10 at 11 a.m. The Easter Bunny will be available on the farm for pictures for an additional fee.
